Angel grew up in a small rural community in Chariton County and has lived in Saline County since 2008. After obtaining her Bachelor’s in Education degree and a Master's in Education from Central Methodist University in Fayette, she taught in Carrollton and Brunswick before moving to Marshall. She taught middle school for Marshall Public Schools for 10 years and obtained her Education Specialist Degree from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg before obtaining her real estate license. She now resides in rural Marshall with her husband and children.
